The drpgroup's venue sourcing team at thevenuepot have helped the Evesham Dogs Trust centre raise £10,000 at their recent open day held at the end of June. The event, held at the Evesham re-homing centre, saw the team assist with tombola, raffle, refreshments, games tents, craft stalls and a 17 class dog show. The Evesham centre looks after 120 dogs ranging from very young to very old who are all looking for permanent homes and around 1,600 visitors attend the fundraising event.

The event saw Emma Kennard, Emma Hawley, Andrea Lynch and Joanna Harding from thevenuepot joined by Tom Jeffs and Suzie Blundell from the drpgroup team all help out on the day. This included taking donations for tours of the facilities, dog-sitting for guests who'd brought their pets with them, selling refreshments and running the raffle. The prize for the raffle was 50% of the money collected for the raffle itself however the eventual winner was kind enough to donate her prize straight back to the Dogs Trust.

Emma Kennard, head of thevenuepot commented on the day, "the entire drpteam have been continuing the commitments we made to our CSR initiatives last year and my team felt that the Dogs Trust was a charity we would really like to support. It's been fantastic for the entire team to help raise such an impressive figure for the trust and we hope that our efforts made a real difference to the lives of the dogs in their care."
