SEGRO, Europe's leading industrial REIT, has launched a free,
dedicated app for iPhone that enables users to search for available
properties across its UK portfolio.
Using an in-built search capability that refines results by
type, location and size, users can obtain details of available UK
properties in either a listing format or as part of an interactive
map. In addition, using GPS navigation, the app is able to identify
a user's geographical location and display local availability.
Comprehensive details, including photographs, are available of
each property using the app, which is compatible with iPhone, iPod
Touch and iPad devices
The app currently covers SEGRO's UK portfolio but will shortly
be expanded to incorporate the company's properties in Continental
Europe. Future evolutions of the app that SEGRO is currently
developing include BlackBerry and Android platforms, and enhanced
features such as augmented reality.
The app has been developed by SEGRO in association with
commercial property listing service, NovaLoca.
