and District Business Club chairman Mick Davies
Behind-the-scenes secrets of TV were shared with business owners
by presenter Llewela Bailey at Dudley and District Business
Club.
One of the most recognised faces with twenty years in TV, the
former Central TV presenter related strange requests from admirers,
which ranged from a suitor with a marmalade sandwich, to rude
members of Royalty showing their 'feet of clay.'
Llewela now runs her own broadcasting company, using her
experience and TV skills to pep up firms' business prospects by
raising their positive profile.
Her talk at Hagley Golf Club, Wassell Grove Lane, was one of a
series to amuse and inspire local business owners, who meet
informally together monthly for support, networking and exchange of
business and ideas.
Dudley and District Business club will be holding a charity
auction in aid of the Pocklington Trust, which supports those with
vision problems, on 18 October, and the club is looking for lot
donations from businesses.
Thought-proving and entertaining Toni Jennings, of Taome Ltd
(www.taome.com) will outline communication and networking skills at
the club's next meeting on July 19.
Booking is essential, via the club website www.ddbc.co.uk as
there is a hot supper at the meeting at Hagley Golf Club, which
starts at 7pm. New businesses are welcome.
