George Machin has been promoted to Senior Planner at Savills
Nottingham, having gained full membership to the Royal Town
Planning Institute (RTPI) this month.
He will continue to work with Director Nick Grace at the
Fletcher Gate based property firm. Since joining Savills in June
2008, George has represented a range of clients including
institutional landowners, utility companies, plc house builders and
private developers.
He has recently obtained planning permission for an 80 unit
housing scheme in Kegworth, North West Leicestershire and a 150,000
sq ft car retail showroom in Derbyshire.

Grace comments: "George joined Savills at a difficult time in the
economic cycle and immediately grasped the need to be focused on
our clients' needs. His knowledge of the local residential market
has allowed him to give practical and commercial advice at a time
when that focus has been paramount to clients."
