Up to 30 new jobs are being created in the region with the
launch of an innovative PR software application aimed at saving
firms time and money in their PR and marketing efforts.
Willenhall-based business Pressvine Worldwide Limited has
developed a new software product that enables companies to deliver
highly-professional marketing and PR campaigns without outsourcing
to a third party.
Pressvine devleoped it's software with initial help from
Birmingham City University and have protected the idea through
Barker Brettell LLP in Birmingham.
Now the business is looking for 30 highly-motivated and talented
Business Development Managers to roll the product out across the
UK.
Commercial Director Adam Tipper said: "I firmly believe that the
West Midlands has a fantastic resource of highly skilled
individuals, both from an industry and academic background and is
therefore a great place to grow a business like this.
"These new jobs present fantastic opportunities for people with
a media or PR background or even media graduates. The important
thing is that we are looking for people who want to be part of a
really forward-thinking and ambitious company.
Pressvine is targeted initially at Midlands-based SMEs,
typically those businesses with an annual turnover between
£500,000 and £20m who want to increase media
coverage.
"The beauty of the Pressvine software product is that it brings
together a number of different marketing or PR tasks that are
performed separately into one single task.
"So, instead of writing a news release, updating websites or
social media sites and writing to customers all at different times,
Pressvine covers everything in a single stage."
Many businesses in the region often miss out on public relations
or marketing opportunities because of a lack of knowledge or
resources.
Adam said: "We see this as empowering companies who have a great
story, to get the media coverage that they deserve.
"It's about increasing the effectiveness of the way a company
communicates with the media and its customers, because it
streamlines the way its communications department works and
therefore saves time and money."
