National training company recruits new manager for SE

Positive Outcomes, one of the UK's leading and top 10 Government-accredited training and work-based learning companies, has hired Jacqui Nicholson as Training Team Manager to head-up its activity in the South East region.

Jacqui joins Positive Outcomes to lead its team of Training Advisors in the South East, which works with public and private sector companies across the region in the delivery of bespoke corporate training and work-based NVQ training, including Levels 4 and 5 Management training.

She joins after two-and-a-half years with global vocational training company A4e Learning & Skills, where she was first an NVQ Training Assessor, and most recently Deputy Operations Manager.

Jacqui reports to Positive Outcomes' Head of Training, Development & Quality, Martin Wright, who is based at the company's head office in Derbyshire, who says:

"Jacqui has specialised in the training and vocational learning and skills sector for several years, most recently with A4e. This highly relevant experience and industry knowledge represents a valuable addition to the company. In particular, Jacqui's skills and expertise complement our national Training Team, which operates throughout the UK.

"Her experience, level of responsibility and knowledge of the training and skills sector, make Jacqui the ideal addition to our national Training Team."

Jacqui has also worked as an NVQ Training Assessor for Southern Learning Hub, and as a Vocational Coach under the BAA Retail Academy at Heathrow Airport.

Martin adds: "Positive Outcomes' suite of corporate training courses have been built around current business needs, and carefully developed to reflect the demands of businesses today. Our corporate training portfolio incorporates a comprehensive suite of Management and Leadership, Business Skills and Compliance courses and training packages.

"Businesses can tailor training to match day-to-day operational needs, selecting from a range of 'bite size' training sessions, opting for either a half or full day corporate course, with no more than ten people in each. They can select the most convenient training pathway for the business and its employees, with either group or one-to-one training delivered at the work place or off site. Our team of trainers are focussed on delivering training in a pragmatic and interactive style, so all learners leave each session with the knowledge, skills and tools to apply what they have learnt immediately, to add value to the business."

Positive Outcomes is a national training, apprenticeships and recruitment company. It specialises in the delivery of Government-funded NVQ work-based training to employees aged 16 and upwards and is one of only a few training providers approved to deliver NVQ Levels 4 and 5 Management training that is the equivalent of a Foundation Degree, and corporate business training, incorporating workshops in IT and management. It has a team dedicated to finding candidate apprentices for employers and delivering relevant on-the-job training.
