Recruitment specialist Macildowie has announced plans to take on
a record number of new graduate trainees.
The company, which operates across Nottinghamshire,
Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire, will
welcome a total of 16 new recruits to its long-running Talent Pool
scheme over the next 12 months - the biggest intake in Macildowie's
history
Each will receive comprehensive sales training on candidate
sourcing and researching markets. They will also get the chance to
work with both active and passive job seekers, before hopefully
going on to become a fully fledged consultant.
The trainees will join Macildowie, which specialises in HR,
finance and procurement and supply chain recruitment, in four
groups over the coming months.
Amongst the first group is business economics graduate Chris
Huffen and former HR and training administrator Sophie Steenberg.
They will be joined by Rebecca Downes, who previously worked as a
business payments advisor.
Commenting on the Talent Pool expansion, James Taylor, director
at Macildowie, said:
"As a company, we have always been firm believers in investing
in young talent and helping to develop the next generation of
recruitment sector experts.
"I'm proud to say that I was the first ever recruit to
Macildowie's Talent Pool back in 1997. In fact, five out of the
seven members of our management team have joined us at trainee
level, which shows what the new additions to the team can go on to
achieve.
"We're upping the number of trainees as an investment to ensure
that we have the strongest team possible, with an unrivaled
skills-set that will help us to continue to deliver outstanding
recruitment solutions for our clients."
"We've already started the search for our next four Talent Pool
members, who will join us in August. Our selection process is
thorough, with a focus on attitude and behaviour. These are things
that can't be taught, whereas skills can be honed and developed
over time."
