The Maynard in Grindleford together with sister venue Whirlowbrook
Hall in Sheffield, are pleased to announce their attendance at the
Sheffield Botanical Gardens Wedding Fair on Sunday 24 July from
11.00am - 4.00pm on Clarke House Road.
The Wedding Fayre is free to attend and the marquee on the lawn
will host 40 handpicked wedding exhibitors and suppliers, including
The Maynard and Whirlowbrook Hall, whose dedicated staff will be
available to offer help and advice for those looking to create the
perfect wedding.
The Maynard is a renowned wedding venue and for those whose
wedding simply must be in the Peak District, The Maynard has the
know-how to tailor a wedding package to suit all requirements. The
hotel is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and civil
partnerships. As wedding breakfasts for up to 120 people can be
accommodated and evening receptions for up to 200, together with
help and advice from the venue's own wedding planners, the success
of the big day is assured.
All new wedding packages are available, including special
midweek deals and all the offers have been expressly designed with
flexibility in mind, allowing everything from the room/s, guest
numbers and menus to be tailored to personal tastes and
requirements. The hotel is able to offer many nice additional
touches that couples may not be aware of. These include not
operating a minimum numbers policy for the wedding breakfast, (the
hotel knows how difficult this can be to know beforehand!) plus
rather than staying the same, the menus change with the seasons,
ensuring that everything will coordinate perfectly.
The Maynard's award-winning chefs are now also creating the
wedding menus at Whirlowbrook Hall, ensuring the twin venues offer
the best of both worlds.

Christmas and New Year's Eve wedding packages are also currently
available, but with prices from just £6,000, these dates are
not going to be available for long!
