Leicester insurance broker receives chartered status

One of the Midlands' leading insurance brokers, Brett and Randall, has achieved the highest level of professional recognition in its field.

The Leicester business is only the second in the city to be awarded prestigious Chartered Insurance Broker status. Fewer than one in 40 brokers nationwide have qualified.

Ashwin Mistry, Chairman of Brett and Randall, said: "We believe Chartered Status will become the accepted symbol of professionalism and quality within the broking community.

"Our staff will benefit from the career development opportunities that will arise as our business expands and their experience grows through enhanced qualified status.

"More importantly our customers will benefit from the higher level of technical advice available and the commitment we intend to maintain in our service quality."

To earn the title from The Chartered Insurance Institute, Brett and Randall had to fulfil strict criteria.

There are over 3,000 brokers in the UK, but only 68 have been granted Chartered Status.
