Former Francis Graves divisional director and Coltham
Developments' project manager, Simon Mole, has joined Birmingham
based Fusion Building Consultancy.
With heavyweight projects such as the Merry Hill Waterfront
redevelopment, the Wolv's stadium and Lafarge's purpose built HQ at
the NEC under his belt, Simon's role will be to expand Fusion's
growing reputation for project managing large scale commercial
schemes.
"We believe Simon's appointment," says Fusion managing director,
Steven Jelfs, "Will provide the depth of expertise we need to put
us in the running for significant new developments both in the
Midlands and further afield. It also demonstrates we have
really moved on a pace as a business, with Fusion able to attract
key players into the fold."
Fusion has already been involved in a number of high profile
schemes including Moog's move to i54 and they were recently
appointed by CPP for its new £20 million manufacturing unit
at Jaguar's former Browns Lane site in Coventry. Simon's 30 years
experience acting as QS and Employers Agent will further strengthen
Fusion's business.
Simon adds, "Clearly Fusion has been making a name for
themselves. Their work is well recognised in the industry and
we have worked jointly on a number of projects together in the
past.
"As a company Fusion provides a first class fit for me, having
the same professional ethos on delivering to clients and taking a
hands on approach, pulling out all the stops until the job is done
and completed to the client's satisfaction."
Simon's appointment is the second high profile industry name to
join the company, with Andy Nock, also formerly from Francis Graves
being appointed last year. Fusion Building Consultancy was formed
in Spring 2002 and is based in Ludgate Hill, employing 11
people.
