Lovely Laura Smith is Sutton's answer to Cheryl Cole - so much so she changes her hair to look like her idol!

Laura, aged 23, is so keen to have her hair like the former X Factor star that she gets a new look as soon as Cheryl gets hers.

The NHS worker, who lives in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield, was stunned when Cheryl cut her losses and went sleeker and blonder this week.

She said: "I thought she just looked fab - I just had to get the look." So within minutes she was on the phone to her hairdresser - and was transformed the very next day at the Lisa Shepherd Sutton salon.

Emma Steven, director of Lisa Shepherd Sutton and former Midlands Hairdresser of the Year, said: "We have lots of people come to us who have seen celeb photos in magazines or on the net and want us to replicate them, but Laura's a real one off.

"She's a huge fan of Cheryl Cole and as soon as she went blonder, Laura wanted the same look. She had dark brown hair before but had decided she wanted the honey, caramelised look that her idol had gone for."

The singer showed off her new hairstyle in public for the first time this week since her dreams of conquering America had been left in tatters when she was axed from X Factor USA after just four days.

Emma added: "When Cheryl changes her style it tends to be quite a dramatic switch - and that's certainly the case with the blonde bob she's opted for - and therefore it's a big change for Laura too!"
