Late nights for Lemurs

Picture caption:  During the whole of August even the Lemurs at West Midland Safari Park are allowed to stay up late!

Staff at West Midland Safari Park are gearing up for their annual Summer Nights season that sees the Park staying open longer for the whole of August. There will be a very special character that will be out and about too - both at the Park and in local towns - simply celebrating summer.

The character was designed to promote one of the Park's newest exhibits "Walking with Lemurs". Affectionately known as Libby the Lemur, Libby may be seen creating endless photographic opportunities throughout the long school holidays.

During the Summer Nights season even the Lemurs will be having a late night as "Walking with Lemurs" closes at 8.00pm each evening in August.

Summer Nights at West Midland Safari Park starts on Monday, 1st August and ends on Wednesday, 31st August 2011. During which the Park will open at 10.00am. Last admission to the Park and Animal Reserves is at 7.00pm, with the African Village and incorporated exhibits - including "Walking with Lemurs" and "Meerkat Mayhem" - closing at 8.00pm. The amusement rides stay open until 9.00pm.

The standard admission charge is £13.99 for adults, £11.99 for children. A family saver ticket costs £46.76, which admits two adults and two children and offers a 10% saving on standard admission prices. Admission prices also include a free return ticket. Amusement rides are charged extra in all cases.
