A Warwickshire company, which specialises in offering equipment-leasing deals to businesses, has announced plans to expand its workforce, after revealing a 44 per cent increase in growth.

Kennet Equipment Leasing, based in Coleshill, is set to create a number of senior account manager and sales support roles over the coming months, to support and continue this impressive rate of growth.

The company, which was founded in 1990, currently employs 40 members of staff, and is led by chairman, Steven Swift. Half-yearly report figures show a 44 per cent rise in growth, compared with the same period last year (January to June).

Mr Swift said: "I am delighted with the company's performance, which is a sign that businesses are, despite the economic downturn, realising that in order to ride out the recession, they will have to invest and consider the bigger picture.

"Our success has been down to the continued efforts of the sales force to grow existing business, target new areas and having the ability to source funding from £1000 to half a million for many business types. This has opened the door to more market segments and a greater number of customers", he explained.
