Confident commercial insurance brokers, Johnston Park McAndrew is on track to boost its sales and create new jobs in the years ahead.

The Midlands-based business is celebrating recent expansion, after moving to swish, prime-site premises in Halesowen, which match its determination to become a bigger player in the SME, and mid-market sectors.

Managing Director, David Johnston, was in upbeat mood, as staff settled into the firm's new offices on the 5th Floor of Trinity Point. Johnston Park McAndrew, which also has a growing band of franchisees, aims to eventually employ at least 60 people, which has necessitated the move to the larger office space.

The business is now based on New Road, close to Halesowen town centre, and just two miles from Junction 3 of the M5. Strategically, this puts it in a fantastic position to service clients in Birmingham and The Black Country.

Johnston Park McAndrew, which has nearly tripled its floorspace, to 6,600 square feet, is now ready to benefit from being housed in a modern, open-plan office, which is furnished with the latest equipment and tailored to service the needs of its expanding workforce and growing clientele.

"The additional space will allow us to take full advantage of all the opportunities that have been coming our way, in terms of recruitment, acquisition, and the roll-out of our franchise model," said Mr Johnston.

"When we moved in 1998 (from 600 sq ft to 2,250 square feet of office space), our business grew at a rate of more than 20 per cent year-on-year, as we increased from six to 28 staff", he added.

This rapid expansion has led Johnston Park McAndrew to outgrow its office space yet again, prompting the firm's latest move, to Trinity Point.

"Now we have been liberated by our larger and better, open plan, space we are focused on continuing our 20 per cent year-on-year growth target. Our past experience and our business development strategies give us the confidence that the new office space will lift the business to the next level", explained Mr Johnston.

Johnston Park McAndrew has also recently announced a new franchisee, Maurice Adams, who joined them from Newstead Insurance Brokers on July 1st.

As the former Managing Director of CE Heaths in Brierley Hill, Mr Adams has a well-established book of business and many years experience, including working as a risk management consultant on captive arrangements.
