A growing firm has moved to Derby's Derwent Business Centre to
give it further room for expansion.
inniAccounts, founded in 2005, was originally based in Shepshed,
Leicestershire, but needed a larger workplace with the flexibility
to house a growing workforce.
Currently a team of seven, the company plans to take on another
member of staff this year, as well as expecting to create three
more positions next year.
The converted Victorian warehouse, managed by specialist
property developer Blueprint, fitted the bill.
Director and co-founder of inniAccounts Matt Poyser said: "Our
growing team was one of the drivers for our move. With plans to
expand our client base over the coming years, the Derwent Business
Centre is a perfect venue to achieve that, with larger suites being
available as the team expands."
Mr Poyser described the firm's new offices as "fantastic".
He said: "What struck us about the Derwent Business Centre was
the way it meets the needs of small and growing businesses. It is a
fantastic place to base a small business. It is spacious, modern
and full of character."
inniAccounts has already hired a new qualified accountant.
Sustainable developer Blueprint is best known for major urban
regeneration schemes such as Nottingham Science Park and Phoenix
Square digital media centre in Leicester. It has invested
continually in Derwent Business Centre since acquiring the premises
six years ago.
The building is part of Blueprint's £19 million property
portfolio, which includes estates across Derby and Derbyshire and
the rest of the East Midlands.
