Innes England has successfully acted on behalf of private
investor Bondcliff Ltd on three deals across Nottinghamshire.
The Midlands property agent has let the ground floor retail unit
of 16 Market Place in Long Eaton to Dignity Funerals and Suite 2,
on 1 Union Street also in Long Eaton, to Carillion Construction
Ltd. In addition Innes England has successfully negotiated the
lease renewal of 15/17 High Street, Arnold for a further five years
to local business The Bike Shop.
The latest of the three deals, to Carillion Construction, now
means that the company will occupy the whole of the first floor of
the unit on Union Street, totalling almost 3,000 sq ft. Carillion
is now able to carry out extensive works to the property to allow
for its growth.
1,275 sq ft has been let to Dignity Funerals on a ten-year lease
term.
James McArthur of Innes England acted for Bondcliff Ltd on all
three lettings. He says: "We have worked with Bondcliff for more
than 20 years now, and we are pleased that we have been able to
retain the company's investment by keeping its properties occupied
in a difficult market. We have worked in close partnership with our
client to act quickly to secure these lettings and as a result we
have been able to reduce their future liabilities with the empty
rate relief changes which came into effect on 1 April.
"We are particularly pleased to have secured the most recent
letting to Carillion. The company has been a tenant in the building
for over ten years and the work which the company has carried out
to all the suites is of a very high standard. There is still 2,263
sq ft of space available on the second floor, which we are
continuing to market and will offer extremely competitive and
flexible terms. The space can be taken as a whole or as individual
offices."
Chris Ringham of Bondcliff Ltd said: "Having worked with Innes
England for a number of years we are delighted that they have been
able to structure and secure a hat trick of deals in the current
market conditions."
