Hire Trade Alliance bring quality operating guides to independent hire businesses

Sutton Coldfield based Hire Trade Alliance (HTA) have announced a new partnership with Hire Guide Solutions (HGS) to bring an increased range of safety and operating leaflets to the independent hire sector.

HGS, run by Marc Bashford, have a history of providing trusted, bespoke and generic instruction guides to a wide range of companies from equipment manufacturers like Stihl and Zarge to hire businesses like Banson Tool Hire.

"We're really pleased to have joined forces with HTA" said Bashford, "I've spent many years developing safety guides in partnership with manufacturers and hirers and I'm looking forward to being able to share the benefit of my experience with independent tool and equipment hire companies through HTA"

HTA members include independent hire companies across the UK in tool and equipment and portable toilet sectors. Membership provides support in growing their businesses and increasing safety for staff and customers. HTA takes pride in only offering services that are essential to small businesses within the industry.

Hire Trade Alliance (HTA) is a fast growing association of independent tool and equipment hire businesses run by the trade for the trade. Established in 1997, HTA has recently developed services with a variety of new partners and an increase in membership has created new opportunities for the association as a group with additional benefits for members.

HTA have always worked to reduce the risk of accidents and raise skills across the sector. In addition to the newly expanded leaflet service, HTA offers hire industry specific training through HTA's Rental Industry Training Scheme which covers General Health & Safety Training for the hire industry along with more specific modules including Manual Handling, Banksman Training and Vaccuum Pump, Truck and Small Engine Training. Operative training is of vital importance to any industry in the UK, and in particular to the rental industry where professional advice, assistance and back up service is often required by many rental customers.

All hire industry staff whether Counter/Office Staff, Workshop/Depot Personnel, Field Service Operatives or Delivery Drivers can be trained to a high standard at a relatively small cost and inconvenience to the rental company. Many modules are accessed online and on successful completion trainees are provided with a handy certification card displaying qualifications achieved.

Membership benefits also include access to discounted supplies in HTA Shop at http://www.hiretradealliance.com/hta_shop.htm, example Terms and Conditions of Hire and Sale and a dedicated hire industry helpline.

HGS are providing HTA members with access to more than 250 safety guides covering a full range of equipment from the DIY popular Pressure Washers and Laminate Sanders, to industry-servicing Scaffold Hoist, Arc Welders and Sub Sewage Pumps. Guides are available to HTA members as printed guides in packs of 50 at a cost of £3.80 each http://www.hiretradealliance.com/guide/?page_id=182
