East Midlands companies sign trading agreement

In a bid to achieve greater carbon reductions both for its own business as well as for clients, and at the same time reduce operating costs, Mansfield based contractor Herbert Baggaley Construction and Energy Consultants, Act on Carbon have signed a trading agreement to work more closely together.

The two companies already share business values in terms of delivering a quality service to clients by using high quality, innovative and energy efficient products.

The new agreement that has been signed means that Baggaley will be able to provide clients with additional value from its construction and maintenance services by delivering major energy savings through the use of Act on Carbon's products and services that have proven energy efficient technologies.  These include LED Lighting, Solar PV and Insulation solutions.

At the same time, through Baggaley, Act on Carbon will be able to reach a much wider audience with these technologies and, more importantly, will enable a greater number of public and private clients to benefit from major savings at this time of belt-tightening.

Clients will also be able to access energy advice on practical and affordable measures for energy reduction and installation including fully funded solutions.

"We are delighted to have signed this agreement with Act On Carbon," said Ian Baggaley, managing director of Baggaley. "Our clients will be able to capitalise on these proven energy efficient technologies, thereby achieving the Carbon Trust Standard. It will also bring business benefits by helping to reduce costs."

"Signing this trade agreement with such an established company as Herbert Baggaley demonstrates how far our company has come in just a short space of time. We look forward to a long and productive working partnership and above all helping local and national businesses reduce their carbon footprint," Peter Dolby, managing director Act on Carbon

Managing Directors, Ian Baggaley and Peter Dolby are shown signing the formal trading agreement.
