A Shropshire multi-media company has joined forces with one of the UK's flagship manufacturers to help bring its hi-tech products to a global audience online.

Daventry-based Hi-Force is the fastest growing hydraulic tools manufacturer in the world and has called on the skills of multi-media specialist 7video to demonstrate its range.

The team from Shrewsbury-based 7video also recently filmed the opening of Hi-Force's multi-million headquarters, with former England rugby international Jeremy Guscott performing the official ribbon cutting.

Managing director of Hi-Force, Kevin Brown, said with the extent of the company's global network of offices and a worldwide customer base, it was vital that Hi-Force's developments, projects and products could be seen remotely over the internet.

He said: "Hi-Force has expanded its regional office network, from nine to 12 offices. Additional offices are now established in Brazil, China and France in support of existing offices in Australia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, South Africa, UAE  and the UK.

"Using online video to demonstrate our products is vital. Still photography can only show so much, the demonstration videos give a better all-round view of our tools and what they can do.

"Having a professionally filmed and edited series of videos means that even on the other side of the world, our products are always available to be seen."

Director of 7video, Peter Sims, said the creative team had also filmed the production and assembly lines at Hi-Force to help the company illustrate its commitment to manufacturing products of the highest quality, using the best machinery available.

He said: "We were delighted to work with Hi-Force on this project, which has seen us film not only product demonstration videos but also what goes into making the products which remain at the leading edge of hydraulic tool technology.

"We also interviewed Jeremy Guscott when he opened Hi-Force's new facility in Daventry and were delighted to be asked to film the official opening."

Videos created by 7video for Hi-Force are also being used for training purposes.

Mr Brown added: "When the global network of our offices and distributors stretches as far and wide as ours, it isn't very often that we can get everyone in the same room to conduct training sessions.

"Videos have become an essential part of training our workforce and increasing our distributors' knowledge of our products - it's important to keep everyone up to date as we develop new products and services."

Hi-Force is the UK's leading manufacturer of high pressure hydraulic tools, supplying a wide variety of industries worldwide Each of the regional Hi-Force offices, along with many distributors, are able to offer a 'complete service'  with the latest service, repair, calibration and testing facilities available, ensuring that the after sales service provided for Hi-Force products is second to none in the industry.
