Chalcroft Construction has just started work on a fifth major
project for a leading third-party logistics company.
Chalcroft was first appointed for a £1.1m project to
extend a freezer store, with a fully-racked facility, which
incorporated plant and baler room, an extended mezzanine area and
three new dock pods.
Since then, Chalcroft has been appointed as building manager for
the £3.1m fit out of an empty warehouse that is being
converted into a warehouse operation on behalf of a leading car
manufacturer. The 10-week project was an extension and internal
fit-out, including mechanical, electrical, sprinklers, and existing
open-plan offices fit-out.
Chalcroft has also been engaged to install a new mezzanine
floor, racking, offices, new sprinkler systems and associated IT
infrastructure and a £2.3m project to make alterations to
chilled and FRV areas.
The latest 15-week, £1.75m project will see Chalcroft fit
out a warehouse for the third-party logistics company.
Mark Reeve, managing director at Chalcroft, commented: "We are
delighted to be working on projects that help cement our client's
position as a leading logistics and warehouse solutions
business.
"All our staff, from directors to those on-site, work hard to
carry out projects on time and with as little disruption to the
client's day-to-day operations as possible, and being awarded four
major projects is testament to the teamwork mentality and attention
to detail throughout."
