The Nottingham office of Clearwater Corporate Finance
("Clearwater") has advised Ochre House Limited ("Ochre House"), the
recruitment outsourcing and talent management business backed by
NBGI Private Equity ("NBGIPE"), on the sale of its subsidiary
Parkside Recruitment Limited ("Parkside" or "the Company") to Antal
International ("Antal").
The sale of Parkside will enable Ochre House to focus on its
principal strategy of becoming Europe's leading partner to
businesses seeking creative solutions in talent management and
recruitment outsourcing.
Parkside is a recruitment boutique based in Middlesex with many
clients in the West London and Thames Valley region. Established in
1989, the company's 34 employees provide expert permanent and
temporary recruitment and resourcing solutions to the accountancy
and finance and office professionals markets. Parkside boasts a
broad client base, from small local businesses to blue-chip
companies.
London-based Antal, which has 98 offices in 32 countries, is a
global specialist in professional and managerial recruitment and
offers its longstanding clients a wide range of international
recruitment solutions, including permanent, temporary, interim and
contract staffing.
Ochre House, which was subject to a management buyout in 2006
backed by NBGIPE, is one of Europe's leading recruitment
outsourcing and talent management businesses. Headquartered in
London, Ochre House aims to deliver value through innovative,
strategic approaches to all aspects of talent management,
encompassing acquisition, engagement, development and
retention.
Ochre House's clients include O2, BUPA, SAS, Steria and Siemens.
In response to increasing client demand for global capabilities,
Ochre House now operates from six countries across Europe and Asia,
which, together with its innovative partnership model, offers a
unique combination of worldwide resourcing solutions, supported by
local delivery.
The deal team for Clearwater comprised partner Marcus Archer and
director Karen Edwards.
Karen Edwards, director at Clearwater in Nottingham, said: "The
sale of Parkside will enable Ochre House to continue to focus on
its goal to become Europe's premier strategic partner for
businesses seeking creative solutions in talent management. The
transaction has allowed Ochre House and its shareholders to realise
good value for the Company and focus on their principle
strategy.
"Parkside is a high quality expert recruitment business with
clear potential for growth through leveraging their existing client
relationships, increasing consultant numbers and expanding their
geographic reach. Its quality is clear and it has developed an
outstanding reputation for its consultative approach with clients
and candidates."
The transaction represents Clearwater's third deal in the
recruitment sector in the last 12 months, having advised on the
sale of ITN Mark Education Limited by Ochre House in May 2011 and
the sale of Teaching Personnel in July 2010.
