Specialist healthcare solicitors Capsticks has agreed a new 10 year lease for extended office space at its current 35 Newhall Street location.

The new lease sees Capsticks move from its current ground floor office to a larger space on the same floor of the building, transferring from its existing 2,300 sq ft office, to a 5,633 sq ft space located across the reception area.   As part of the move, the company will also be realigning the existing office entrance from the building's reception to improve entry.

Neil Middleton, Capsticks, said: "We have grown more quickly than expected over the last few years and realised that we could do with additional space for client areas and the flexibility of a larger reception. The 35 Newhall Street team have been outstanding in providing us with this new space and providing us with the support to accomplish what I am sure will be a smooth transition.

"That we are able to move the office entrance to better suit our requirement is a true testament to 35 Newhall Street's promise that it is a unique and flexible environment. This is a fantastic building in a perfect location for us and I look forward to continuing to grow our business in these offices."

Located at the heart of the city's Colmore Business District, 35 Newhall Street has proven to be an extremely popular location for businesses.

Malcolm Jones of joint agent KWB, said: "We have a long-standing relationship with Capsticks, as they were the first tenants to move into the building over two years ago. Capsticks has seen a real growth in the last couple of years and it is evident that the building offers flexible and tailor-made solutions to be able to accommodate this growth so excellently.

"35 Newhall Street represents some of the finest office space available in Birmingham, with a prime location with easy access to transport links and amenities."

Since Capsticks took the first space at 35 Newhall Street, the building has continued to prove itself to be popular, with current occupiers including Kennedy's Solicitors, Three Lions Underwriters, Zolfo Cooper LLP, Aldermore Bank and MCR.

There is still some space available at the prestigious building, including 9,727 sq ft on the second floor and 9,272 sq ft on the first floor, with suites from 2,574 sq ft. An additional 2, 300 sq ft will also be available on the ground floor following Capsticks' relocation.

Boasting bright accommodation across six floors, with the flexibility to tailor space to the requirements of specific businesses, 35 Newhall Street is situated just five minutes from New Street and Snow Hill train stations and is well connected to the main arterial road links and bus routes.

Jones Lang LaSalle and KWB are joint agents for the property which is managed by ING Real Estate on behalf of the West Midlands Metropolitan Authority Pension Fund.
