Ash & Lacy Building Systems has been bought by the
management team of Jonathan Evans and Ian French.
The acquisition was completed on July 20th 2011. It follows a
strategic decision by previous owner Hill and Smith plc to focus on
its remaining core businesses.
Jonathan Evans is a chartered engineer and joins the company as
Chief Executive. Ian French, formerly of Hill and Smith plc, will
be Commercial Director.
Jonathan has a successful track record in the metal building
products industry and Ian already has a wealth of experience in the
Ash & Lacy Building Systems operation and the markets the
company serves.
Ray Harriman, who continues as Managing Director, commented:

increase our presence in a variety of new and exciting markets.
