IT Management specialist, Adept4, has been working with Sesame
Bankhall Group, the UK's leading supplier of support services to
independent financial advisors, to help IFA businesses throughout
the UK to prevent financial crime.
Adept4 approached Sesame, part of the Sesame Bankhall Group, in
February with a view to promoting its Secure Hard Disk Encryption
service to the company's network of IFA members. Data security is a
growing threat to businesses due to increased work mobility and
reliance on remote devices and both Sesame and Adept4 are keen to
reduce any potential risk.
Hard Disk Encryption helps businesses to protect data and
ensures information is safe at all times. Encryption covers
computers and laptops, network files, removal media and USB storage
devices, covering all layers of potential risks and is backed up by
Adept4's 24/7 support.
In addition to this, Adept4 offer other security offerings as an
all round Managed Service, to assist users with choosing correct
product or installation and ongoing support. This ensures
businesses meet the compliance guidelines laid down by the FSA.
Peter Birkett, CEO at Adept4, commented: "Our Hard Disc
Encryption solution means that businesses do not have the extra
worry their confidential data is not protected. With our Managed
Services, the data is kept secure from potential risks. Having the
support from Sesame reinforces the quality service Adept4 provide
and we hope to help other companies protect their business data and
information."
David Rimmer at Sesame added: "We were impressed with Adept4's
range of secure solutions and the services that they could offer
our members and so agreed to promote their service to our members
through our magazines and direct mail marketing. It's so
important to make businesses across the UK aware of the threats
they face in terms of financial crime and we're delighted that the
campaign has been such a success so far."
