1,000th home sold at Park Central

The 1,000th home has been sold at Crest Nicholson's hugely popular Park Central development in Birmingham city centre.

Combining a range of apartments, duplexes, penthouses and freehold townhouses, Park Central has created a vibrant new community in Birmingham city centre, which includes around 25 per cent affordable housing, successfully delivered in partnership with Optima Community Association.

House hunters Anthony and Himali Court were the lucky purchasers who made the 1,000th property purchase at the development, choosing a two bedroom apartment at the development's latest phase, Lower Parkside. Moving to the city centre from nearby Selly Park, artist Himali and her husband Anthony whom works for the NHS, were attracted to Park Central's leafy environment as Himali explains:

"We were keen to move into the city centre and having lived in Selly Park, were originally looking to buy a property with a garden.  When we saw the new apartments at Lower Parkside we realised we have found the perfect garden substitute - a spacious balcony/terrace area that creates a wonderful outdoor living space with views across the development's parkland.  Indeed, many of friends who have visited us since we moved in, have been shocked and pleasantly surprised by how peaceful the development is while being located right in Birmingham city centre - almost like a secret garden! The apartment itself is also much larger than others we had viewed within the city centre, and with local facilities including a medical centre and schools nearby, Park Central definitely offered us the best value for our requirements."

First time buyers Anthony and Himali were supported through the buying process by the Park Central sales team and the company's recommended financial adviser.

"As first time buyers, the house buyer process was a completely alien concept to us," added Himali. "The sales team were fantastic and supported us step by step through our purchase from up front mortgage advice to choosing our home décor. They kept us fully informed all the way through the buying process and it really couldn't have gone any smoother. We are delighted with our new home, view it as a great investment, and hope to enjoy living here for many years to come."

Bordered by Bath Row and Lee Bank Middleway, and just minutes from The Mailbox, Park Central is a national award winning residential development. Lower Parkside, the latest phase of the development, offers a range of one and two-bedroom apartments alongside highly exclusive two, three and four-bedroom freehold townhouses. Prices start from £99,950 for a one bedroom apartment including spacious terrace. Two stylish show homes are now open to view at Lower Parkside.
