Wealth Management specialist joins Wilsons’ financial services team

Insurance broker and financial advisory firm The Wilson Organisation has recruited wealth management specialist Jo Noon to create and head-up its new Wealth Management service and Pensions Reform Campaign for clients.

With over twenty years financial services and wealth management experience gained whilst with Lloyds Banking Group as a Senior Financial Advisor and four years as Private Client Manager at one of the UK's leading investment houses, Jo Noon's new role will focus on advising Wilsons' high net worth clients on strategies for continually maximising the financial return on investments.

The new Private Client Advisor role is part of the firm's extensive Financial Services team, headed by Wilsons' CEO Annabel Prow, and sees Jo working with clients across the UK from the firm's head office in Nottingham.

Jo explains: "Our Wealth Management advisory service encompasses all so-called 'Wrap Platform' products such as ISAs, pensions, on and off shore bonds. By working with a dedicated Advisor, clients benefit from a focussed and specialist service in which we keep track of the changing legislation, rules, maximum and minimum investment thresholds, and work for them to move and reinvest capital and growing investments to maximise financial returns.

"The beauty lies in providing our key clients with one point of contact, and we do all the research and work for them. Our job is to alert clients to any changes or opportunities across the global markets that are most appropriate to their current or evolving financial situation."

Annabel Prow adds: "The introduction of the Pensions Reforms is scheduled for April 2012, and will have an impact on both employers and employees. Company owners may need to rethink the overall employee remuneration package to reflect employees' entitlements, as well as consider the impact the change in the rules will have on the business itself. We have therefore created the dedicated Pensions Reform team, to work with our clients, advise them on the changes, and work-though the most viable strategies for them to manage the changes. With Jo's extensive knowledge and experience in the field of wealth management generally, and pensions in particular, we are strongly placed to offer the very best, timely advice."

Wilsons will soon be launching details of its Pension Reforms Campaign for clients, which will include a series of free events later in the year.
