National training, apprenticeships and recruitment company
Positive Outcomes has taken on thirty-one new recruits across its
UK network of offices and all areas of the business.
The unprecedented recruitment drive at the company follows it
securing an increase in its Skills Funding Agency (SFA) contract
with the Government as well as a number of national commercial
contracts, to deliver apprenticeships and work-based training.
Of the new hires, ten are based at its head office off Junction
28 of the M1 in Derbyshire, and are six Apprenticeship Officers
working within its dedicated Apprenticeship team led by Sarah Hill,
together with a National Account Administrator, Receptionist,
Administrator and Senior IT Engineer.
Fourteen Training Advisors have also joined the company,
operating across all of Positive Outcomes' national regional
network, including the North East, North West, Midlands, South
West, London and the South East, whilst David Shaw, has joined as
Northern region Training Team Manager.
Jenna Orwin and Alison Poole are appointed as Learning Advisors,
bringing the national team total to nine, and the company has added
four to its Business Development Team.
According to the company's MD Chris Longmate, demand for its
work-based training has risen dramatically in the last five months:
"Not only have we secured additional commercial contracts,
including the delivery of work-based training for a leading
national retailer, we have also secured an increase in the Skills
Funding Agency contract, based on our UK-wide operation, high
performance rates and success across all industry sectors.
"With this additional training, and a rise in the demand from
businesses for both apprenticeships and our corporate and
work-based training, we needed to increase our staffing levels by
more than thirty percent across all departments, specialisms and
locations, to maintain our excellent standards of
delivery."
Positive Outcomes specialises in the delivery of
Government-funded NVQ work-based training to employees aged 16 and
upwards and is one of only a few training providers approved to
deliver NVQ Levels 4 and 5 Management training that is the
equivalent of a Foundation Degree, and corporate business training,
incorporating workshops in IT and management. It has a team
dedicated to finding candidate apprentices for employers and
delivering relevant on-the-job training.
