Bromsgrove RFC First XV centre, Tom Millen proves that his
talents extend beyond the Rugby pitch.
Tom is celebrating his appointment with Worcester-based
technology company, Postcode Anywhere where he will be adding
support to its busy technical support department.
Twenty-three year old Tom attended Old Swinford Hospital School,
Stourbridge, where he was born and later studied for a degree in
Business Information Systems at Cardiff University.
Tom is delighted to take up his appointment with Postcode
Anywhere and said: "I was so pleased to be offered a position at an
award-winning company that's success rate is phenomenal. Postcode
Anywhere has appeared in Deloitte's fast-growth European technology
lists for two consecutive years running, which means it is among
the top fastest growing IT firms in Europe.
"With so many businesses struggling in the current economic
downturn, I feel I have reached the touch line in more ways than
one. I am really looking forward to working for a company that has
a growing customer base and loads of opportunity for career
development."
Currently on loan from Stourbridge RFC, serial sportsman Tom
also plays cricket for Hagley Cricket Club. He will soon be
starting his rigorous training regime for Bromsgrove RFC 2011/2012
season at the end of July.
It is an exciting time for the club as it was promoted to
National 2 when it won the league last season.
Postcode Anywhere's managing director Guy Mucklow, is delighted
to welcome Tom to the company and said:"Successful business is very
much about pulling together as a team. In much the same way
that a rugby team is made up of a group of players all bringing
different skills to the table to provide a much stronger entity,
the same is true in business.
Tom's knowledge of what it takes to be a team player will be a
very useful asset as we continue to drive the growth of Postcode
Anywhere."
