Strategic appointments strengthen CRT sales team

Customer and stakeholder engagement specialist CRT has made two key appointments to its Coventry-based sales team.

Mike Shuter, who has been spearheading the company's renewal sales program with private and public sector bodies throughout the UK since June 2010, has been promoted to a new, strategically important account development role.

Working with universities, local government bodies and the NHS, Mike's remit will be to promote CRT's market-leading ViewPoint feedback technology to new audiences.

"This is a really exciting opportunity for me, and CRT," commented Mike Shuter. "Effective, proactive engagement is increasingly becoming an important priority for many organisations - and through the technologies we have developed, the private and public sectors can be a lot more responsive to stakeholder opinion than they have been historically."

Meanwhile, Jade Myall replaces Mike as the company's lead salesperson on renewals.

Jade joins CRT determined to build on Mike Shuter's successful tenure. She said: "Mike is going to be a hard act to follow - but I am delighted to be a part of the CRT team.

"We have got some great customers, and my role is more than just persuading people to subscribe to our technology for a further period, it's also about helping them harness the power of ViewPoint and opening their eyes to what can be achieved."

Paul Bullett, Director of Sales, is confident Mike and Jade will be big successes in their new roles.

"Mike's promotion is thoroughly deserved," he said. "He has worked extremely hard in recent months, and his endeavours have paid off. His results have been excellent.

"We're now keen to let Mike perform at a higher level because we're confident he has the all the necessary skills to be a major success.

"Jade joins us from a very different background, having previously worked in the antiquities sector. But she is a very people-focused person, who has a knack of being able to build a relationship - and trust - with customers. And that is a very important quality for any sales professional to possess."
