The successful independent insurance Broker AMB Insurance Services Limited will be relocating its business operation to Wolstanton after securing a financial package from NatWest Commercial Banking, allowing the business to expand.

As a truly independent broker, AMB Insurance Services Ltd - established by Andrew Barrow and Claire Pigeon in 2003 - offer completely independent advice, with no other interested parties behind the scenes and has access to the composite insurers as well as the Lloyds market.  By sticking to their independent broker status, the company has enjoyed strong growth even during these difficult economic times.

The business - which provides employment for eight people - currently successfully operates from leasehold premises in Stafford Street, Stone, but the directors were very keen to purchase their own premises and expand. With this in mind the company approached NatWest commercial banking who came up with a financial package allowing them to purchase premises in Woodland Avenue, Wolstanton and support further expansion.

The expansion of the company will create new jobs moving forward.

Claire Pigeon, Managing Director of AMB Insurance Services Ltd, said: "We are a traditional brokerage business where values of personal service, knowledge and dependability are paramount.  We take a holistic approach, where we believe in working closely with our clients to truly understand their business.  This approach ensures our insurance specifically suits or customers and we have been able to successfully grow our business. With this growth it has become essential for us to invest in the company and purchase new premises for the benefit of the business, our staff and our customers."

Paul Slinger, senior relationship manager with NatWest commercial banking who arranged the financial package, said: "AMB Insurance Services Ltd is a great local success story. They have shown by understanding their customers and the services they offer how a business can grow. The purchase of the Wolstanton premises is a very positive move for the company and I am delighted that NatWest have been able to support them.
