Leading West Midlands contracting group Shaylor has secured
three new framework agreements with clients in the public sector
for projects to be undertaken over the next four years.
A new framework agreement with long standing client the Ministry
of Justice (MOJ) covers minor works contracts up to a value of
£500,000 at all MOJ premises across the UK for the next four
years.
A three year agreement with Northampton County Council covers
capital projects from £200k to £3.8 million and a four
year agreement with Hertfordshire County Council encompasses
repairs, adaptations, refurbishment and extensions to buildings on
project up to £550k.
Newly appointed framework director Martin Chambers said: "We are
delighted to add these three framework agreement to our portfolio.
We have a long standing relationship with the MOJ and experienced a
very active year last year with custodial and prison projects in
Birmingham, Cheshire, Manchester, Kent and Peterborough.
"We are likely to see more framework agreements being offered
into the market place as public bodies strive to maintain their
development and refurbishment programmes despite the severe cuts in
funding.
"These appointments reflect our track record of success with
previous framework agreements and put us in a strong position to
benefit from this trend."
