Birmingham-based chartered accountancy firm Salhan Accountants
celebrated being highly commended in one of the industry's most
prestigious national awards by treating its staff to lunch at a
Michelin-starred restaurant.
Directors Madan and Dr Anjulika Salhan were joined by members of
staff, consultants and even one of the firm's first clients at
Simpsons Restaurant, in Edgbaston, on Friday, 17 June.
The occasion celebrated Salhan Accountants being highly
commended by judges in the category of 'Best General Tax Practice'
in this year's Taxation Awards, which are recognised as a gold
standard of excellence within the tax sector.
Managing Director Madan Salhan said: "At Salhan Accountants, we
truly believe that our staff are our most important assets, which
is why we like to show our appreciation as often as possible.
"To be highly commended at such as prestigious awards ceremony
is a fantastic achievement, and one that would not have been
possible without all the hard work and dedication of our team.
"As a result, we thought it would be fitting to treat our staff
to lunch at Simpsons. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed by all - and
richly deserved by our staff. It is our way of saying 'thank you'
for all their hard work."
In addition to the usual chartered accountancy services, Salhan
Accountants provides a wide range of highly specialised services,
including forensic accounting, tax litigation, tax fraud
investigations and VAT investigations, with the firm being able to
count experienced former HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) staff among
its team.
The firm's sister company, Salhan Consultancy Ltd, delivers
highly specialised, tailor-made mathematical solutions for finance,
business and industry, as well as mathematical analysis and
forensic audits of consumer credit agreements.
