The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
(ICAEW) has announced that it is to launch a new nationwide
business advice service.
The service will be rolled out across the UK later this year,
and will provide small and medium sized enterprises with a free
initial consultation with an ICAEW chartered accountant.
Welcoming the news, Alistair Wesson, regional director East
Midlands at RSM Tenon Nottingham said: "Any additional support for
businesses can only be welcomed, particularly in the current
economic climate. Many businesses have undoubtedly suffered over
the recent times with many unsure as to where to turn to for help
and support.
"It is vital that we ensure that businesses are properly
supported and advised in order to help them achieve their potential
and drive the economic recovery forward."
