Three employees from Prolog, Britain's largest privately owned
marketing and logistics services company, based in Sherwood Park in
Annesley, Nottingham have taken part in the 100km Oxfam
Trailtrekker 2011.
The team of three: Marc Randle, Anita Day and Claire Allen
joined Jack Swaisland In walking the Bronze section of the course
over the Yorkshire Dales last weekend. Marc Randle
commented:
"We elected to walk the 40km distance and pledged to raise
£2000 for the Charity, Oxfam. This would be enough to build a
school, employ a teacher and buy some books"
The Prolog Team experienced a mixture of rough terrain with
unpredictable weather conditions.
Anita Day commented:
"The Team worked extremely well together, supporting and
encouraging each other throughout those difficult times. We are
very proud of what we have accomplished, it is such an achievement.
We would like to thank the excellent support team who ensured we
were well fed and rested at the checkpoints"
They are still collecting and would welcome donations at the
