A leading Shropshire and North Wales law firm has announced the appointment of two new Partners.

John Marshall, a Solicitor who specialises in Wills, Probate and Taxation and Powers of Attorney on behalf of high net worth clients, and Euros Jones, a prominent figure in the local Criminal Courts, were appointed as Partners of GHP Legal. The firm, one of the largest law firms in the area, has offices in Wrexham, Oswestry and Llangollen.

Mr Marshall attended Darland High School and Yale College before taking a degree in history at Manchester University and attending Chester College of Law. He joined GHP Legal in 2007, returning to his Wrexham roots after spells of working in Manchester and Chester. On several occasions Mr Marshall has been invited by solicitors from the Royal Mencap Society in London to give joint seminars to members of the public seeking financial solutions for the provision of long term care for mentally vulnerable dependents.

Wrexham born Mr Jones is one of the best known faces in GHP Legal's crime department, not only for his regular TV appearances but also for featuring in a national online virtual courtroom scenario. Educated in Ysgol Morgan LLwyd he went on to graduate in law at the University of Wales Swansea.  Prior to completing his legal training at the Chester College of Law he took a year out to teach and travel in Africa. He joined GHP Legal in 2001 as a trainee solicitor.

Congratulating the new Partners, Peter Butler, Managing Partner of GHP Legal, said: "I am delighted to announce the promotion of John Marshall and Euros Jones and welcome them as Partners. I have confidence that each will contribute to the growth and strength of our practice, now and for the future."
