The hard work and studying has finally paid off for trainee
solicitor Lucy Regan, who has just qualified as a fully fledged
solicitor!
Lucy, who works in the private client department at Lanyon
Bowdler, has been with the firm for four years, and previously had
training seats in residential conveyancing, personal injury and
clinical negligence.
The newly qualified solicitor joins an existing well established
team of specialists who are able to advise in all aspects of
private client law. Lucy's specialist area is Court of Protection
work, which involves working with people who, for varying reasons,
do not have the capacity to manage their own property and affairs.
As part of her role Lucy acts for people who have received
damages awards and require assistance with capital protection such
as setting up personal injury trusts, she also deals in tax
planning involving agricultural and business property relief.
When she is not busy in her new private client role, Lucy likes
to spend her spare time walking, cooking and enjoying her two cats,
Meatball and Jag. However she has very little spare time at the
moment as she is currently preparing for her wedding!
Lucy comments "I am glad my training period is finally over and
I can now concentrate on developing my career with Lanyon Bowdler,
as well as building my own client base in private client."
