East Midlands law firm Nelsons has appointed Craig
Staten-Spencer as a Trust Manager in its Private Client team.
Craig joins Nelsons from the banking sector, having worked for
HSBC in Derby as a customer relationship manager for several years.
Prior to that, he worked in the Quality team within the mortgage
processing unit at the Halifax after completing his law degree.
Head of Private Client services, Richard Grosberg says: "Craig's
experience in the banking and financial services sector will be
invaluable in his new role at Nelsons. We are, of course, delighted
he has joined our team."
As well as advising on the details of setting up trusts, Nelsons
also provides a service supporting Trustees with the ongoing
administration of Trusts. The firm administers over 200
Trusts, several of which have assets in excess of £1 million,
and supports the Trustees of three substantial Almshouse
charities.
Craig will also be part of the team at Nelsons dealing with
their expanding Court of Protection work, dealing with the
financial affairs of those unable to look after their own finances.
A lot of this work arises from Nelsons' work in dealing with
catastrophic injury cases.
