One of the UK's leading and Top 10 Government-accredited
training and work-based learning companies Positive Outcomes, has
hired David Shaw to the new post of Training Team Manager for the
North of the UK.
David will head-up the company's seven-strong team of Training
Advisors in the region, with responsibility for delivering training
to companies across the North, from Sheffield to the Scottish
Borders. He reports to Positive Outcomes' Head of Training,
Development & Quality, Martin Wright, who is based at the
company's Head office in Derbyshire.
He will also coordinate the latest recruitment drive in the
region, to recruit six new Training Advisors across the North West
and East, alongside assuming responsibility for fine-tuning the
quality of Positive Outcomes' training provision by its 80-plus
team of advisors operating across the UK.
David brings over sixteen years dedicated work-based training
and learning experience to the company, which includes positions
within the hotel and hospitality sector and for one of the
country's largest dedicated training providers. He was instrumental
in securing Grade 2 at OFSTED inspections for his last three
employers.

Positive Outcomes is a national training, apprenticeships and
recruitment company. It specialises in the delivery of
Government-funded NVQ work-based training to employees aged 16 and
upwards and is one of only a few training providers approved to
deliver NVQ Levels 4 and 5 Management training that is the
equivalent of a Foundation Degree, and corporate business training,
incorporating workshops in IT and management. It has a team
dedicated to finding candidate apprentices for employers and
delivering relevant on-the-job training.
