After 18 months of playing the field, award-winning creative
team Barrie Robinson-Bule and Tim Jarvis have finally settled down
- at McCann Erickson Birmingham.
Since Aussie Executive Creative Director Vince McSweeney's
arrival at the turn of the year, McCanns has been strengthening its
creative offering, adding a number of significant appointments.
Over the past 18 months the creative duo has freelanced at
companies around the country, yet resisted advances from a number
of companies offering full time employment.
Tim comments: "We've freelanced regularly at McCanns over the
past couple of years and immediately knew it was "the one".
In our opinion, it's the best Agency outside of London, and
has the potential to be better than most of those in London
too."
Barrie adds: "We noticed our names weren't on 'The List', so we
just crashed it."
Vince McSweeney, Executive Creative Director at McCann Erickson
Birmingham, said: "Since I arrived at McCanns, I'd noticed these
two tarting themselves around and decided it was time to make
honest men of them. They're hardworking with a great book and
bursting with ideas. I can only apologise to our competitors
for taking them off the market - they're a great addition to our
team."
The duo will be working on clients such as Vauxhall, Saab,
Lotus, Harley Davidson, Stanley Tools and many more.
Earlier this year, McSweeney published a list of creatives from
rival agencies that are "on his list". Jamie Buckingham became the
first appointment as a result of the advert, joining McCanns as a
senior art director just a number of weeks later.
