Northampton-based marketing agency Rocket has just announced its
new partnership with charity partner Wallace and Gromit's
Children's Foundation. The appeal gets underway today, as
people up and down the country wear the wrong trousers, raising
money to help sick children in hospitals and hospices across the
UK.
Rocket approached the Wallace & Gromit's Children's
Foundation team with the desire to go above and beyond usual
charitable donations, providing the charity with pro-bono online
creative efforts, including web banners and viral marketing for the
charity's next event 'The Great British Tea Party'. Rocket will use
its expertise to engage online users and raise substantial
awareness for the 3-week event in December.
The Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation is a national
charity that seeks to ensure sick and terminally ill children and
their families in hospitals and hospices have access to the very
best comforts, facilities, therapies and equipment available. The
charity works tirelessly to help these children have the best
chance of a happy, healthy childhood.
Neil Thompson, managing director of Rocket, explained "The
Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation really caught our eye,
and its great to now be involved with this fantastic charity,
backed by the loveable duo. We're looking forward to delivering fun
and exciting online campaigns for the charity to help them achieve
some great support and essential fundraising for their sterling
work."
Marie Storey, head of fundraising for the Wallace and Gromit's
Children's Foundation, commented "We are delighted to have Rocket
onboard to help make our next event 'The Great British Tea
Party' as successful as possible. "
