One Leicestershire's largest independent estate agencies has
extended its team of chartered surveyors with two members of staff
passing their final assessments to become fully qualified
surveyors. Andrew Granger & Co operates in the residential,
rural, commercial and development property sectors across the East
Midlands.
Mark Sandall and Elizabeth Watson both recently passed their
Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), making them members of
the industry's regulatory body, the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors (RICS). The RICS is the foremost organisation for
professionals working in the land, property and construction
sectors in the UK, Europe and the world.
Mark is the Partner runs the firm's Leicester office and handles
both town and country sales and lettings across the East Midlands,
whilst Elizabeth's area of expertise lies in rural work and
heritage buildings. "The industry quite rightly sets a high
benchmark to ensure that surveyors are offering reliable advice
that clients can trust," comments Mark "We are both
absolutely delighted to have passed the APC and to have met the
rigorous standards set by such a well respected body as the
RICS."
In addition to becoming chartered surveyors both Mark and
Elizabeth are now also RICS registered valuers. The RICS Valuer
Registration Scheme is a new endorsement that has recently been set
up to ensure consistency in valuation practice across the UK,
Europe and the world. Only correctly trained surveyors such
as Mark and Elizabeth are able to use the title 'RICS Registered
Valuer' which means that they and the firms they work for are
regularly monitored by the RICS to ensure the highest standards of
professionalism.
Andrew Granger & Co's team of RICS qualified valuers makes
them one of the county's largest independent chartered
surveyors.
