Ultimo, the UK's leading designer lingerie brand said: "This
competition has given people the opportunity to showcase their
business ideas to millions of people but I know from my own
experience that having a great idea is only part of the battle.
It's important that entrepreneurs have passion and conviction, and
that's what our shortlisted entries have.
"Nine businesses across Great Britain will win
£50,000 to help them realise their business dreams. All
winning ideas will be decided purely as a result of the public's
vote, so it's really important to get those votes in now and boost
your favourite's chances of winning. I'm delighted to be part of
this competition, which I hope will encourage more people to think
about realising their own business dreams."
Across Great Britain, Barclays will award nine regional winners
with a £50,000 sum and expert advice to help turn their
business dreams into a reality.
The winners will be announced at a special gala dinner in London
on the 20th July.
