Redditch commercial property agents John Truslove "signed the
way" for the Automobile Association to take a major site in the
town.
The AA has leased a factory/warehouse at the io Centre at Park
Farm, one of Redditch's premier industrial locations.
The unit, one of six across Britain, is for the production and
distribution of the organisation's specialist events and new
development "yellow plate" signs business, highlighting the likes
of housing schemes and music festivals.
And John Truslove, who acted for owners, the Church
Commissioners, have been praised for responding fast to get the
deal done.
Partner Ian Parker said: "We were glad we could be of help on
this transaction, playing a part in bringing such a prestige
organisation to Redditch."
Mark Fitzpatrick, of the Birmingham office of GVA, who acted for
the AA, said: "The premises were oven ready for the AA's
requirements and we were very impressed by John Truslove and the
Church Commissioners' ability to get it turned round so
quickly.
"That was exactly what the AA needed."
An AA spokesman said: "Our new facilities are just what were
required. We wanted to retain an operation in the middle of the
country for ease of serving our customers. Redditch has excellent
transport links and we are very happy the way it all worked out for
the best."
Law firm Bond Pearce acted for the Church Commissioners and
Payne Hicks Beach for the AA.
The io Centre is a development of ten high quality
factory/warehouse buildings. For further information contact Ian
