Acting on behalf of Babington Motors Limited, Innes England has
completed the lettings of two workshop units in a prominent
position fronting Derby's new inner ring road.
The units, situated at the junction of Babington Lane and Lara
Croft Way, have been let to Speedy's Wheels and Tyres and Spectrum
Carpet Remnants which have both moved to expand the businesses into
larger premises.
Steve Davison of Spectrum said: "I had a shop on Friar Gate
previously but I was doing most of my business online. This led to
a need for larger storage space so I began to look for warehouse
premises. Being located next to the new inner ring road is really
beneficial, not only for ease of distribution but prominent signage
will also enable plenty of passers-by see to where we are."
Tim Richardson, who led the deal at Innes England, said: "We are
pleased to secure such good quality local tenants both of whom have
been able to take advantage of the flexible terms and easy access
to the premises.
"Both businesses will benefit from the prominent position and
the high level of passing trade including motorists and those using
the public car park on Babington Lane, which is situated adjacent
to the new road and approximately 100 yards from the main shopping
thoroughfare of St Peters Street."
