APC Overnight, the UK's largest overnight parcel delivery
network, has presented its Annual Development Award to APC CS
Couriers in Hereford. The local courier recently moved to a new
3500 square ft site, boosting APC's service capability for
Herefordshire. The family-owned and managed distribution centre
joined the APC Overnight network in 2008 and business has grown
rapidly for next-day deliveries.
The Annual Development Award is one of several prizes awarded to
its top performing depot partners recognising "above and beyond"
service performance throughout the past year. More than 120 depots
took part in the largest competition of its kind, with the awards
presented at the company's annual event at Cheshford Grange Hotel,
Kenilworth, on Saturday 21 May 2011.
"I am pleased to present the APC Overnight Annual Development
Award to APC CS Couriers. The number of votes received shows the
depot team is ready to go out of its way to provide above and
beyond service. It recognises the depots achievements over the past
year and that it is a proactive depot that is consistently helpful
to other depots in the APC Overnight network," said Ivor Skinner,
APC Overnight MD.
The awards involve all the APC Overnight partners. The depots
vote for the three most outstanding depots within their own
regions. Those with the highest number of votes then enter the
national competition. The votes consider how depots have supported
one another throughout the year to provide consistent and excellent
customer service. The votes are collected and counted at APC
Overnight's HQ in Wolverhampton and the winner held secret until
the annual event.
"These are important awards for APC Overnight members and
recognise their above and beyond commitment to service excellence.
They reflect how hard depots work together to support each other
within a customer focused, tightly knit and cooperative network of
likeminded local delivery specialists. This dedicated approach
allows APC Overnight to provide a seamless collection to delivery
service for our customers throughout the UK," said Ivor Skinner,
APC Overnight MD.
