A global supply chain technology business has established a new
European subsidiary at a prestigious out-of-town office development
in Worcester.
Apex Supply Chain Technologies provides internet-based
industrial vending and software solutions to automate and control
the distribution of tools, supplies and critical parts for leading
manufacturing companies across the world. It has leased 2,500 sq ft
of office accommodation at the popular Whittington Hall development
located just off the M5.
The business has taken the accommodation at Brook Court, a
three-storey campus-style office building which has a
well-appointed reception area, air conditioning, raised access
floors, suspended ceilings with recessed lighting, and is DDA
compliant.
Whittington Hall is a popular, high specification out-of-town
office development with views of the Malvern Hills.
David Clark, head of commercial management at Blue Marble
Properties Ltd, said: "We are thrilled that Apex Supply Chain
Technologies has joined us. Even though Apex has only been
established for four years, it is a massive company operating
across the world and their move to Whittington Hall is a huge coup
for us.
"For a company operating on this scale excellent transport links
are paramount, which is one of the reasons Apex was attracted to us
in the first instance. In addition, we offer an unrivalled
parkland style setting, with excellent car parking, that is very
close to Worcester city centre. We hope to share in the business's
success and we will do everything we can to meet their expectations
and establish a long-standing, rewarding relationship."
Julian Adams, managing director of Apex Supply Chain
Technologies, said that since the business was formed in the USA
just four years ago, it had become a global leader providing
cost-saving internet-based industrial vending systems and software.
Its subsidiary locations needed to be conveniently located to its
customers in the UK and throughout Europe.
"Expansion into Europe is a natural progression, as Apex
continues to support its rapidly expanding global industrial
customer base, along with emerging markets such as healthcare and
bioscience," he explained.
"Whittington Hall provides an ideal location for Apex, offering
first-class facilities for our management group, sales and
marketing, and technical support teams along with showroom and
training facilities. This is complemented by excellent road links
to the rest of the UK and air travel from either Birmingham or
Bristol," he added. Visit www.apexsupplychain.com for more
information.
Whittington Hall has now secured lettings amounting to more than
25,000 sq ft in the past 12 months or so - more than half of all
office lettings in the Worcester district including the city centre
and business parks, according to Chamber of Commerce statistics.
There are suites ranging from 2,430 to 7,183 sq ft currently
available.
