A major provider of affordable sheltered housing for older
people in Birmingham is a 'lot' better off thanks to a local
property specialist.
Gallan Parking, part of Midland-based Gallan Group, has
presented Lench's Trust with a cheque for £500 at the city
centre car park that it manages for the organisation.
The 140-space car park at Lench Street, just off Lancaster
Circus and opposite Birmingham Children's Hospital, has been let to
Gallan Parking on a short-term basis ahead of redevelopment of the
site.
Phillip Grant, Managing Director of Gallan Parking, said:
"Lench's Trust provides a vital service as both a landlord and a
charity and the donation was a gesture of our goodwill."
Jean-Luc Priez, Chief Executive of Lench's Trust, said: "We were
delighted with the donation which will go towards the running of
our new extra care scheme in Quinton."
Nick Williams, Head of Office Agency for Savills Estate Agents,
added: "The short-term let to Gallan Parking went very smoothly.
They have helped to turn fallow land into an attractive development
proposition."
Gallan Parking operates over 3,000 spaces in an area from
Sheffield to Worthing and Stafford to Norwich.
