Jones Lang LaSalle which recently merged with King Sturge has
secured two lettings totalling 30,000sq ft on Easter Park
scheme in Kidderminster.
Both lettings are to well established local companies.
Silver Bullet Caravans, which was previously based in
Stourbridge has taken 9,200 sq ft. The company which manufactures a
unique range of bespoke fifties-style aluminium caravans and
commercial trailers, is expanding its operation to accommodate a
substantial growth in home-market and overseas sales.
Peter Carrick managing director of Silver Bullet Caravans said,
"Our move to Easter Park is an exciting chapter in our history.
Everyone is impressed with our new headquarters and believes it
projects a high level of credibility and professionalism to both
our existing and prospective customers."
Easter Park is prominently positioned fronting the A449
Worcester Road, approximately a mile to the south of Kidderminster.
Since opening, it has attracted national trade counter
operator Screwfix, which has reported that the depot has become one
of its top performing outlets.
Andrew Cosnett from the industrial team of Jones Lang LaSalle
who act as agents on the scheme added, "That Easter Park is an
example of a well located and prominent industrial
development, with first class amenities already attracting a range
of quality operators. The fact that two lettings have come so close
together demonstrates an improving interest in this and other new
build schemes. It also reflects a general perception amongst
occupiers of an impending shortage in this market, following a lull
in speculative development, which is unlikely to pick up in the
foreseeable future."
Six of the nine units have currently been disposed of at
scheme with a further three units remaining ranging from
8,200 sq ft to 46, 850 sq ft available for sale or to rent.
