Davpack the leaders in online packaging distribution are
assisting Sealed Air in rewriting history with the launch of a
brand new Bubble Wrap product smartly coined as 'DubbleBubble'.
This innovative product, now available from packaging
specialist, Davpack, has seen Bubblewrap in its traditional form
completely re-invented after a lengthy 51 year history.
Terry Davenport, Managing Director of Davpack, considers this a
major advancement in bubble packaging, and said enthusiastically:

Bubblewrap was invented accidentally in 1957 when engineers
Alfred Fielding and Marc Chavannes were trying to create textured
wallpaper by capturing air between two thin layers of plastic.
Aircap Bubble Packaging was born and has made a terrific
protective packaging material ever since.
The duo then went on to set up Sealed Air in 1960 and Bubblewrap
became a trademarked brand of the Sealed Air Corporation.
To mark its 50th birthday last January the firm then began
developing this brand new variation of the product which has led to
Davpack offering it directly to its avid client base.
Barrier sealed for longer shelf-life, DubbleBubble boasts a
small bubble construction making it idea for smaller and more
