Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, is set
to enhance its appeal as a venue for the event and exhibition
industry with the opening of its new hotel on Monday 15th
August.
The Drayton Manor Hotel will be popular amongst organisers,
exhibitors and event attendees with its improved offering, which
includes a beautifully styled large hospitality suite, featuring
floor-to-ceiling windows. This suite can accommodate up to 300
delegates for the likes of conferences, exhibitions and product
launches.
In addition, the hotel will have three smaller rooms, each
accommodating up to 12 people, making them ideal for the likes of
board meetings. Organisers and event attendees will also benefit
from the hotel's audio visual offering and wireless internet
connection.
At the end of the working day, business professionals will be
able to relax and network the hotel's two restaurants, Parklands
Restaurant and Parklands Brassiere, as well as in its two bars.
Then, rather than having to travel elsewhere for accommodation,
people can choose from a range of rooms to sleep in, from
contemporary standard or executive rooms, to the deluxe or
presidential rooms.
Colin Bryan, Drayton Manor Theme Park's managing director, said:
"The Drayton Manor Hotel complements the park's existing
facilities, which include two large suites, each with its own free
parking, dedicated reception area and bar.
"The hotel will help enhance Drayton Manor's appeal as a venue
for a wide variety of corporate events, not only because of the
facilities on offer, but also its location, close to junction 9 of
the M42, Exit T2 of the M6 Toll, 14 miles from Birmingham City
Centre, 13 miles from Birmingham Airport, and 12 miles Birmingham
NEC."
